Purpose

Every one of us is provided hundreds of services every day. Everything from electricity provided to our home, to the take-away coffee we purchase every morning.

Good service is under attack at a global level. In the name of cost cutting, all too often quality and choice of services are reduced to the barest minimum the customer will accept without complaint or in extreme circumstances, revolt.

We live in a world of lip service to "service excellence" and "customer delight", a world not of customers but "service prisoners", and increased expectations with limited ability to deliver.

The service pulpit was created for theapy as a service watchdog. Detailed here are personal experiences, both good and bad, in the world of service.

My hope is that the good and bad experiences will even out over time.
